Application are for different teaching posts for the following Department:
Department of Civil Engineering (Lecturer in any field, Professor / Associate Professor in Geotechnology/ Environment / WRE disciplines).
Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Teachers in any rank).
Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering ( Teachers in any rank).
Department of Medical & production Engineering ( Teachers in any rank).
Department of Architecture ( Teachers in any rank).
Requirements for the post of Lecturer: The minimum educational qualification is Bachelor Degree in relevant field. Applicants in Engineering disciplines (except IPE, ME, Metallurgy) must have minimum CGPA 3.75, for IPF, ME and Metallurgy disciplines- minimum CGPA 3.50 and for Architecture – minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.0.
Requirements for the post of Assistant Professor and above ranks: The candidates must fulfill the academic requirements as of Lecturer and sufficient teaching and/ or professional experience, publications in recognized journals as first author and higher degrees depending on the post are also required. CGPA requirement may be relaxed in case of Ph.D. degree holders.
Internal candidates of any department may also apply for higher post.
A forwarding letter in plain paper along with 2 (two) sets of full CV, copy of published articles/ papers, recent passport size colored photograph and attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets/ transcripts, testimonials etc. must reach the Registrar, AUST on or before September 19, 2013.
Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview.
